Gearing up...

It's another novel attempt. I still want to finish the last one. But, since the premise is to write one whole one - I'll start a new one this week. It'll be good practice either way.

Some things I like

Besides glitter and shoes, I have to say I love my new cell phone. It's soooo much better than the old one I had, better reception, easier to carry, and it has a camera. It really does. I resisted for many long days, months, years, about getting another cell phone. It hasn't taken me long to become a cell phone convert.

I am also loving my October copy of Southern Living. It's so fall-ish and homey.

And, I LOVE the fact that my parent's house has sold in Oklahoma and, in three weeks' time, they'll be moving back to North Carolina. THAT is just the best. They'll be in NC for Thanksgiving and for Christmas. The world is a beautiful place all the way around.

Besides which, I'm teaching creative writing AND I get to write another novel-in-a-month. Well, yes, I do need to finish the last one too. There is that. But, I can do that.

October

Oh my..it's October and we're well on our way to NaNoWriMo and another noveling month. It's certainly something to look forward to. :)
